The MARAX Heat-Exchanger Coffee Machine is a compact prosumer espresso machine engineered to deliver stable brewing temperatures, powerful steam performance and quiet operation. Designed for home baristas seeking traditional lever-operated espresso preparation, it combines the L58E group, an intelligent heat-exchanger system and professional steam controls within a narrow footprint.
Its 1.8-litre boiler incorporates an AISI 316L stainless-steel heat exchanger and LELIT’s double-probe system. This system automatically controls the extraction temperature, reduces overheating commonly associated with traditional heat-exchanger machines and eliminates the need for lengthy cooling flushes between extractions.
The MARAX offers three selectable extraction-temperature settings—Warm, Hot and Extra Hot—allowing users to adjust the brewing profile for different coffee beans and roast levels. Its selectable Xmode Coffee and Xmode Steam settings allow the machine to prioritise either extraction-temperature stability or increased steam performance.
The L58E group features mechanical pre-infusion, which gradually saturates the coffee puck before full extraction pressure is reached. A double pressure gauge displays both pump and steam pressure, while the silent vibration pump supports a quieter preparation workflow.
Its multidirectional anti-burn steam and hot-water wands provide professional control for creating microfoam, preparing milk-based beverages and dispensing hot water. Available in Black, Brushed Stainless Steel and White, the MARAX combines advanced heat-exchanger performance with distinctive Italian design.
